Hey Shiela-
Hows it going? I picked up the chins last night, They are SSSOOOOO handsome!!!Better in real life than a picture! They seem to be handling everythingok. Of course they are a little scared but we will do everything we can to make them comfortable! Willa, the beige female we have, already has the hots forthe mosaic male, which we have decided to name 'Stud' and the pink male's name is 'Sparky'(like the ASU Sundevils, we are from AZ) Kind of cheesy but thatsok! Thank you again so much we are very happy with our new chins and as we talked about earlier, we will be doing business with you again with-in the next 2-3 months! You have made this very easy on us and appreciate it greatly! Thank you Ginger
Shiela,
Hi this is Rita and Bobby from Pittsburgh. just wanted to let you know that we love the chinchillas they are beautiful and are getting along great. We named the female Grace and the male Phillip. They seem happy in their new homes. Please let us know about the violet babies and their sexes. We are still very interested and are having fun with these new chinchillas. We will be contacting you about purchasing the supplement and hay cubes. Also wandering if it is ok to put chinchilla vitamins in their water?? Thanks again, Rita
Hi!
Thanks so much for the very cute chinchilla. I have named him Buster. He is doing very well. He is eating and drinking fine. He just now got used to his house and loves to sleep in it. He already will come to Jarvis and my hand and step on it for us to pick him up. He is very calm with everyone. Thanks again! I'll be sure to keep you updated! > Amanda
Hello Shiela ~
I purchased 3 females from you a couple months ago and they are all doing very well. I was just checking to see what you have available? Right now, I am looking for standard v/c females that are or close to breeding age. I am trying to expand my violet lines. Thanks for your time ~ Allison
Hello,
Me and my wife just wanted to write you and say a big thank you for everything today. You made it such a great experience. Your operation is very very impressive, and left us with a great feeling in our hearts. We do mean what we say about if you are ever over here to contact us and we can do lunch or dinner, and show you around Indianapolis. Our number again is: XXX-XXX-XXXX, or my cell-phone is: XXX-XXX-XXXX it is also my voicemail. I was wondering if you could tell us again who makes your feed? We were comparing ingredients with Oxbow, and your feed has a lot more minerals and vitamins. Thank you for the great deal on the dust too. I know we will not ever get a better price than what we got there. We will definitely be continuing to do business with you. I assure you that there will be no problems with the check. We love our new little chin, and so does Furbles our older chin. They are getting along great. I was wondering who also makes your alfalfa cubes? It is so great to know someone that knows a lot about chinchillas and that we can ask questions if we have any. We will probably be ordering more supplement too when we get low. Well I had better wrap this up. I hope you have a great weekend. Thanks again for everything. I hope you have a good weekend, and god bless. Oh yeah we are leaning towards Apollo or Aramis for a name for him. He is soooo cute. Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Andrew,Susan,Furbles,Aramis or Apollo
Hi Shiela,
Thank you so much for a great cute chin! She sure is great! And I love her! When I picked her up at the airport, everyone around me said she is great and I was so proud of her and it was fun to tell them what chinchillas are. When I moved her to the cage, I placed my hands in front of her, then she just came up to me and jumped on my hands! (of course I gave her a raisin) so, I slowly moved my hands into the cage. She looked a little nervous, but after a while, she fell asleep. Now, she woke up and I thought she won't be so active, but she is jumping around in the cage. Looks like her ears are lifted up too. I hope she will recover from her trip more in the next few days. Also, thanks so much for those pellets. I think she will have enough time to get her pellets changed.
Thank you very much!

Hey!!!! This is Amanda, the girl that just bought a baby black velvet from you. I just thought that I would let you know that he is adjusting pretty well, or seems to be. He is just now becoming curious enough to learn how to use his wheel, but he is doing an okay job at it. I named him Bosley Schabunkinhiemer. It is easier to say than it is to spell-lol!!!! I just now sent your e-mail addy and your phone number to my friend. She will probably ask questions of you shortly (although she is usually busy????) But, their names are Margie and Cathy Barnes. I wanted to thank you again for being such a great help, and I will try to keep you posted on Bosley's new achievements. As of now he has learned the trick that if he is on the couch, he is able to jump down and make it back to his house (a fish bowl) before any of us catch him.
Hi Shiela, Just wanted to update you on the beige female chin I purchased from you earlier this month. I have named her Brandy, and she is doing great!! Her hair has grown black from my male I have. Now they cuddle all the time and play together. She has gotten very friendly the more she is held and played with. She now comes to me every time I open the cage door. She is great and I would recommend you to anyone who is interested in purchasing a chin from you. You really take a lot of time and care in your chins!!! Thank you again so very much for the new addition to our family!!! And especially her new boyfriend Shadow, he thanks you too. Lori
Just wanted to let you know the chins are doing great!!! We took ethem to the Vet. this morning and he said they looked really healthy! Everyone at the office just loved them. My Vet. wanted your name and information. He said he does get a fair amount of inquiries about chinchillas and people don't know where to get them. He suggests against pet stores since you don't know how old they are or how much they have been handled. I think he is really partial (he spent almost 45 min. with us) since he had them when he was young. He thought they were real cute.
I got them a new cage today, it was fun to see them check things out-the cage is pretty big. They're spoiled already! My husband was surprisingly taken by them-and what were the first words out of his mouth?? When can they have babies? I couldn't believe it-he was the one saying he didn't want babies!!!!! I just can't stop watching them and they really are very sweet!! (I don't know if we can wait 9mo or so until we have little ones)
Thanks, Anna Flanigan

We all made it home safely, "cocoa" is adjusting well and chowing down. Alittle skitish at first but calms down quickly. He is starting to come up to Emily's hand and sniff a bit if she leaves it in the cage. He's a big hit with my wife and son as well. I was impressed with your operation and it was well worth the drive from Toledo. We'll be in touch for food and supplies. I was serious about letting us know when you come to Toledo would love to have yu visit. Check out the link www.martinscages.com if you want to look at the cages i mentioned. Thanks again we look forward to many happy years with cocoa!
Hello Shiela and Kevin,
I wanted to thank you for two of the best chinchillas in the world. The trip home was a success. Daphne held the pet taxi on her lap on the way home and both of the babies would go to the door and let her pet their noses. When we stopped, she offered them bottled water and food and they both ate and drank. We arrived home when it was dark and they were ready to play. We stayed up most of the night to watch them and the female even climbed up on Daphnes arm and onto her chest and then back into the cage after about 10 minutes. She seems to be very happy already. The male will let us pet him but is a little leery of us and hasn't climbed up on us yet. Daphne offered them both a raisin each today and the female took hers for Daphne's hand and looked so adorable eating it. Daphne offered the male one he did take it but only ate a bite and dropped it and the female ran over and stole it. So we figure tomorrow we will get the female out first and then offer the male his raisin. Maybe he will have a chance to enjoy it that way. And we want to keep her healthy.
Thank you so much for answering all of our and the children's questions. The kids all said to send you a big thank you! We all look forward to seeing you again very soon. We have a few friends who are real interested and we told them we would be glad to pick them up if they would pay for the gas and our expenses. So we just may see you again real soon!
Daphne just right now picked names, she thinks she will call the girl Chewie and the boy Chance. The girl likes to chew and the boy has to have a chance to get used to us and he also needs a chance to get his raisin before the little girl gets it. The one thing I am sure of is they are already a big part of our family! Thanks again and you have made return customers of us;
