Anyone within driving distance of our hometown is more than welcome to come and pick out their chinchilla from our chinchilla ranch. Just email or call Shiela to setup a time to come and pick out the perfect chinchilla for you!
For those who may be a little further away, Shiela and Kevin make periodic trips to Pennsylvania, North/South Ohio, and sometimes into Michigan and Indiana. If you are willing to meet Kevin or Shiela at a convenient stop along their trip, they will be more than happy to meet up with you to pickup a chinchilla.
If you are living too far away to pick up your chinchilla or meet us halfway, then your only other option is to have the animal airmailed to your location. We have shipped many animals via airmail to very excited chinchilla owners across the country. To meet the requirements of live animal shipments, there are several steps that must be taken. First the animal must be taken to a veterinarian to obtain a health certificate that tells the airline companies that the chinchilla is in good health before he/she is shipped out. The chinchilla will also need to have a pet carrier and enough food/water to make sure the chinchilla comfortably makes his way across the country. The total cost of airmailing your chinchilla will be AROUND: $30 for the carrier $40 for the health certificate, and $200 for the airmailing fee. Sorry but We do not currently ship internationally. There are too many regulations and too much time for the animals to spend in transit.
